Friday Edit: Yeah, not well at all! Awhile ago my son got the viral infection "Slapped Cheek Syndrome" or "Fifth disease" which sounds worse than it is. He wasn't very ill and got over it pretty quickly BUT I then got it. It turns out that it can cause lupus to flare up and cause pretty serious anaemia in adults who are immune suppressed (me). So of course I had to then get both those side effects; so I'm battling acute anaemia (from the virus!) and a nasty lupus flare up. Anyway, my appetite hasn't been too affected but I am eating pretty plain and more grazing through the day than eating proper meals.
Breakfast: Woke feeling really bad and was initially quite nauseous but needed food to take my pills :-( Managed a raspberry soy yogurt and a small bowl of Just Right cereal with fortified rice milk.
Morning Snack: Nausea went away and was suddenly starving, had a plain toasted bagel spread with Vitalite.
Late Lunch: Bowl of Cream of Wheat with brown sugar, maple syrup and cinnamon (it's a good source of iron).
Dinner: Bowl of Suma Organic Split Pea Soup.
Evening Snack: Slice of wholegrain bread spread with Vitalite and peanut butter and a glass or orange juice.
Total Calories for the Day: 1619
